Unit 6 - The Big Five of Africa

Last year I visited South Africa, for the first time in my life.

I left Malpensa Airport on Friday at 7.30 pm and arrived in Cape Town on Saturday at 9.00 am.

The trip was long (it took about twelve hours) but I was excited and eager to see the great plains of Africa.

I caught a taxi and went to my hotel which was situated in the centre of Cape Town.

The next day I went on a safari to see ‘The Big Five’ animals of Africa.

The lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and rhino are the ‘big five’ animals of Africa.

I managed to see all of them and I was completely shocked by the beauty of these animals.

I enjoyed watching all of the animals in a complete harmony with each other.
