Step 1

Stewardess - Good morning sir, can I have your ticket and Personal Identification, please?

Passenger - Yes , certainly. Here is my passport, and this is my ticket.

Stewardess - How many cases are you taking?

Passenger - Only one and hand luggage.

Stewardess - Did you leave it unattended at all before coming here?

Passenger - Sorry! I don’t understand.

Stewardess - Could anyone have put anything in your case while you were not looking? We must ask this for security reasons.

Passenger - Ah, I see. No, I’ve always kept it with me.

Stewardess - O. K. Fine. If there is any electrical equipment in your case, like a CD player or hairdryer, you should put it in your hand luggage.

Passenger - No, there is no electrical equipment in it.

Stewardess - Now, would you like to sit by the window ?

Passenger - Yes, please.

Stewardess - Right, Mr Cricelli. Here's your ticket and boarding card. Boarding time is at 10.20. Gate 11 and ... here's your passport. Have a nice flight.
