Step
1
Susan - What do you think about Jenny, our new sales assistant? Peter - She looks confident and seems to be interested in her new job. Perhaps she is a little young. By the way, how old is she? Susan - She'll be nineteen next month but I think she's quite professional and reliable. That's not common for a girl her age. Peter - Yes, she seems to be hard-working too but it's too early now for an evaluation...let's wait and see. |

Step 2
Susan - Anyway she's certainly going to do a better job than Joyce, the assistant we had before. She was totally unreliable and almost always late. Peter - Uhm! You're right. At first she looked cheerful and competent but probably this was not her type of job. Susan - Sure. I think she needs something else. She's not the kind of person to do a routine job. In fact she said she wanted something more challenging and creative. Peter - I see. Now that I think about it, she was probably right. It's not great fun serving people in a clothing store! |
