Uso del Future Simple

Azioni non programmate, ma decise nel momento in cui si parla

Es: It's hot. I'll open the window -> Fa caldo. Aprirò la finestra
Previsioni, promesse, offrirsi di fare qualcosa

Es: He'll pass the exam -> Supererà l'esame

Don't worry. I'll do it! -> Non preoccuparti. Lo farò!

Shall I take you to the downtown? -> Devo portarti in centro?
Azioni future certe che non dipendono dalla nostra volontà

Es: Tomorrow I'll be 26-> Domani compirò 26 anni
Con i verbi: think (pensare), believe (credere), suppose (supporre), be sure (essere sicuri)

Es: I'm sure you'll have a nice day -> Sono sicuro che avrai una spendida giornata

Le forme negativa, interrogativa e interrogativa-negativa e le risposte brevi si creano seguendo le stesse regole del verbo TO BE

Uso del Future GOING TO

Avere intenzione di compiere un'azione

Es: I'm going to invite her to the party. -> La inviterò alla festa (Ho intenzione di invitarla alla festa).
Stare per fare qualcosa o per accadere

Es: It's going to snow. -> Nevicherà (Sta per nevicare).
